For complete peace of mind, all GURU hosting comes with full off-site replication of all data to our backup datacentre and in addition; backups of all files and databases at least every four hours on Standard Hosting, every single hour on Pro Hosting and GURU Dedicated Server services, which are stored separately to our hourly off-site data replication and easy to restore from your control panel.

How it works

All GURU hosting comes with full data replication of files and databases at least every hour, which are securely stored in our off-site datacentre. Users can restore backups of all files and databases at least every four hours on Standard Hosting, every single hour on Pro Hosting and GURU Dedicated Server services, which are stored separately to our hourly off-site data replication for additional peace of mind.

Using our private diverse backup network, changes to your critical data are automatically sent to our secure secondary datacentre location.

Our Replications and Backups are quick, non-disruptive, and should you need any files or databases restored we can do this for you in just a few minutes.

Should disaster happen and you need to restore an entire server, off-site data replications or indeed backups are also fully consistent images which can be utilised to restore a point-in-time snapshot of your server

Consistent, protected MySQL data

Your MySQL data is all safely archived and can be restored from snapshots in the same way as your server data. We capture databases in a consistent state without prolonged table locking, ensuring not only your static files are protected, but your dynamic data too.
